Rocky Lane Dental Practice

Michelle has been a Dental Nurse for 19 years in both NHS & Private practices and holds The National Certificate for Dental Nurses (2003) & The Certificate in Oral Health & Application of Fluoride Varnish (2010).

Returning to RLDP after working for 11years in a NHS practice, Michelle has been with RLDP since August 2016.

Mum of 2 young boys aged 8 & 6, Michelle loves spending time with her family & friends.

Since finishing school in 2015, Ellie studied art & design for a year in West Cheshire College & has recently qualified in Dental nursing.

Ellie joined RLDP in July 2016

Away from work she enjoys socialising with friends & family.

Lara joined RLDP in February 2023 as our receptionist

Having never working within the Dental industry before, she was keen to take on a new role and has enjoyed getting to know more about private dentistry.

Lara has 2 children & lives locally with her husband & their dog. She spends much of her spare time renovating her home & has a passion for interior design.

She enjoys keeping active and is a keen runner.

Issy joined the practice in 2020 as an associate dentist.

Issy enjoys all aspects of dentistry having undergone courses in composite bonding, clear aligners and facial aesthetics.

Issy’s passion lies in root canal treatment, she is currently studying for a Diploma in root canal treatment at the University of Chester.

Outside of work Issy is a keen runner and enjoys cycling with her partner Matt around Knutsford where they live.

Notice a resemblance? Yes, Issy is Robs’ youngest daughter the two enjoy working together and discussing cases over the family dinner table when they all get together, much to the boredom of the rest of the family!

Rob qualified from the Turner Dental School in Manchester in 1978 and has worked in General Practice ever since.

He first opened the doors of Rocky Lane Dental Practice in 1998 and has built an enviable reputation for high quality patient care.

He attends many post-graduate courses, seminars & workshops, all over the World to keep up to date with the finest equipment and techniques.

Rob never stops learning new skills and investing in the latest, most technologically advanced equipment which keeps Rocky Lane Dental at the forefront of dental care in the North West of England.

However, the basic philosophy behind all of Rob's work has remained unchanged: To provide the highest possible level of care and standards of work for the patient, in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Outside of work, Rob has a number of interests.  

He is a keen golfer, experienced sailor (both small dinghy & larger yachts), enjoys cycling and, as if that isn't enough, is Secretary of his local Squash Club as well as being an enthusiastic squash player.

He is very happily married with two children, has two labradors and his favourite film is "Where Eagles Dare"
